If you’re like me and you like to learn from the success of others, this How She Did It series is for you.

The purpose of this series is to give you access and insights to female entrepreneurs who in 8 brief answers will let you learn from their businesses and mindset.

This is important to me because…..

If it weren’t for my ability to be coachable, it would have taken me 10 times longer to build multiple streams of income and an international business.

That is why today’s guest is so perfect!

She juggles more than one business and after spending time with her in South Africa, I can guarantee that she makes it look so easy.

She makes a six figure income, took her entire family on a dream vacation, inspires thousands of people daily, and is a newly wed.

Superwoman probably takes advice from her….I’m just saying. 😉

Let’s see how she gets it all done!

How Busisiwe Did It:

Please share with us what you do and who your business helps.

By profession I am a Day Care owner, my Day Care is based in the townships of Tembisa South Africa. I have just recently ventured into Network Marketing. My businesses combined help me cater for me & my family.

How did you go from “idea” to an online business?

It has always been a dream of mine to own an online business. I have always wanted to brand myself & market my brand Globally.

In your opinion, what is a hard-to-spot pitfall that is critical to avoid in entrepreneurship?

When building a business online it is very crucial to maintain a healthy social media profile, because you are building an audience. Brand yourself & keep it clean, being all over the show might break your business.

In your opinion, what was the #1 thing that helped you experience a breakthrough in business?

My number 1 thing that helped me experience breakthrough in business, is that I was teachable & I took advice from people that have been in the game longer than me.

What is one thing you’ve told yourself that kept you going during your darkest hour?

I always go back to my “Why”, dark hours come and go so I can’t dwell on that, I need to find a way through the toughest moments. I see good in all situations whether good or bad, what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.

What’s your best advice for entrepreneurs who are frustrated and overwhelmed?

Take everyday as it comes, form a routine to keep you stable when it becomes shaky. Remember why you started, and let that be your motivation.

What are your favorite tools and resources that make your life easier and keep your business running smoothly?

When you are in business you need to have an active calendar/planner, if there are open spaces in your calendar & no plans on your planner that means you are not maximizing your potential as a business owner.

To conclude, what is one thing you would like to share with my audience to inspire them to go for new goals?

I am just a girl from the townships with no degree, raised by a single parent mom who made money by cleaning other people’s homes & no high level status, but I never made excuses for the current situation.

I took risks to improve myself, I challenged myself because nobody else was responsible for the change of my life but myself. I changed my circle, tried new things, adopted new habits.
