Are you ready to package your message into an e-course and sell it around the world?
I believe that you are willing to do the work, show up, help people, and build your business but you’re not sure what you’re missing.
Perhaps you have been on a ton of webinars and heard many podcasts where you feel like you have learned so much.
Yet somehow you are not getting the results you want.
There is a disconnect between what you have learned and what you are doing.
E-learning is a $100 billion industry and it’s waiting for you to create your info product so that it can keep growing!
Maybe you knew that already but are struggling to turn that into a reality for yourself.
You’ve seen all the success stories but can’t seem to translate that for yourself and after a while discounted all the case studies to hype…..
Despite your good intentions, by overlooking these 5 areas you are holding yourself back.
Don’t freak out just yet…those are called blind spots.
Thankfully, you have my help and can piggyback off my experience of selling products and services to people in 20+ countries…mostly in my sleep.
I’m going to expose your blind spots so that you can take action and do something about them!
Get your online business started on the right track and work on these areas now:
Mistake #1 Confusing a product with a business
Many entrepreneurs get caught up in their launch or in a current promotion and forget that they are building a brand.
If you don’t know how to connect with your customer beyond a quick sale then you won’t be in business for long.
People matter. They are not just a “like” or just a follower.
Get to know them and you will always know how to serve them.
As a result, they will always find your programs relevant to their needs.
Mistake #2 Chasing contracts and not attracting contacts
If you are not building an email list, you are not growing your online business the smart way.
Solely relying on social media to contact your ideal audience leaves you vulnerable and limited.
People see on average 2,000+ social media images. On the other hand, people get on average 50+ emails.
Trust me. You want to be 1 out of 50 emails rather than only being 1 out of 2,000 social media posts.
By adding value and building your email list you will be able to build rapport with your audience and follow up when it’s time to sell your program.
Mistake #3 Growing your mission and not your vision
You shout from the rooftops to your followers teaching them new tricks every single day but they have no idea about your “why”.
Does that sound familiar?
Growing your mission tells people what you do.
You’ve seen it before….your website is beautiful, your graphics clearly share what you do, and you are ready to dive right in and teach people how to overcome their challenges.
Let’s look at it from another perspective.
Sharing your vision tells them why you do it.
Does your ideal customer know what you really stand for and why?
By showing up authentically and sharing more than just fun facts and figures you will be able to stand out in your industry- even from the pros.
I can’t tell you how many people work with me and join my programs because I sold my living room & dining set as well as, traded my textbooks on amazon.com to start my business.
Being vulnerable and honest allows your audience to relate to you on a deeper level.
Sure, I have customers now in 20+ countries and make sales in my sleep. But knowing where I started has been just as meaningful to my students as living 3+ months in the Dominican Republic with my husband.
Mistake #4 Selling yourself too short.
I’ve seen way to many experts slash their prices or quietly post one tiny social media post, only to run under the covers because they asked for a sale.
Being shy about your worth and the valuable information you offer hurts you and your ideal customers.
If it is not clear that you can help your audience overcome a specific issue, they might make a huge mistake and overlook what you have to offer.
Not only will you be out of a sale but your customers will run off and implement strategies that are the best fit for them at the moment.
Instead, conduct market research so that you can price your programs accordingly and write copy that attracts your ideal customers by the hundreds.
Mistake #5 Giving up too soon.
I can’t tell you how many times I have seen people host a webinar only to have Facebook show their ad to very few people.
As a result, they didn’t have the masses at their live webinar like they expected.
I’ve also seen people create a program, put their heart and soul into it, only to struggle to make a single sale.
It can be very heartbreaking.
Some take failure as an opportunity to learn so that they can try again.
Unfortunately, most see it as a “sign” that they should run and hide in the woods for having dared to stand out and add value to others.
I get it. Putting yourself out there is scary.
But not retiring your entire family and local football team on your first launch is not a sign that you should quit.
Of course that’s a silly example but you get what I’m saying.
A little struggle in the beginning is only an opportunity to implement what you learned to increase what you earn.
Keep going. There are people out there that only you can help. Don’t forget about them when you decide what to do.

People deserve to get to know the real you.
