I like to go places (if I am not doing a home office photoshoot or a product shoot that is more flexible), early in the morning so they are emptier and the lighting is better.

If I have the luxury of time (which is not always the case lol),I like to work with a new photographer 3 months in advance to create an ample cushion between the photoshoot and the time I get the photos back.
With a new photographer, you just never know how busy they are- no matter how optimistic they are when they speak with you.
You can look for photographers by looking on Instagram, checking out local #s, seeing who local influencers tag in their photos, and also try Flytographer and work with photographers around the world.
